North Carolina Governor, Roy Cooper, has issued an order that takes effect on March 30, 2020 at 5pm. Everyone in NC is ordered to stay at home for 30 days, except to conduct essential business. Real Estate has been designated an essential service by the Governor. So, what does that mean?

As a member of the Cape Fear Realtors Governmental Affairs Committee, I was fortunate to be part of a private tour of the Port of Wilmington last week and learn how impressive the port is, and its importance to the NC economy. It has world-class facilities, the fastest turn times on the East coast and is equipped to offer container, bulk, breakbulk and roll on-roll off operations.
