Towles Road is a highly desirable coastal community in the Greenville Sound Area of Wilmington offering unspoiled and natural vistas that include tidal ponds and marshes, walking trails to neighboring communities. Membership in the Towles Road Boat Ramp Association is approximately $100 per year and also provides parking at the boat ramp and a waterfront covered gazebo. The Towles Road boat ramp is one of the finest private community boat ramps in Wilmington and provides a great value. With boating access, Towles Road residents can take a 3-minute jaunt to Masonboro Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy the white sandy shores of Masonboro Island or dock and dine at the popular waterfront restaurants at the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge: Bluewater, The Bridge Tender, The Fish House and Dockside.
Towles Road residents may also own or have the ability to purchase or rent a deep-water boat slip on the Intracoastal Waterway in the Greenville Sound Gardens Yacht Club at the bottom of Towles Rd, which is exclusive to Towles Road residents only. Towles Road is ideally situated just 5 minutes by car to first class stores and restaurants at Mayfaire and Wrightsville Beach and is in the coveted Hoggard school district.
